Terms and Conditions – Arnold Clark Movie Screening Events

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your seats for the preview screenings of the latest Spider-Man movie, hosted by Arnold Clark and administered by SPARK Marketing Services Limited.

1. Event Details
  • Date & Time: Friday, 31st July 2025.  Screenings will start promptly at 11am or 2pm (there will be no adverts or trailers prior to the screenings).  The 11am screenings are being provided to our charity partners as outlined below.  The booking code that you receive from Arnold Clark or our charity partners will dictate which screening you are entitled to book seats for.
  • Venues:
    • Aberdeen:  Cineworld Aberdeen, Union Square, Guild Street, Aberdeen, AB11 5RG
    • Leeds:  Cineworld Leeds, The White Rose Shopping Centre, Dewsbury Road, Leeds, LS11 8LU
    • Glasgow: Cineworld Glasgow (Silverburn), 763 Barrhead Road, Glasgow, G53 6AG
    • Liverpool: Cineworld Speke, Speke Road, New Mersey Retail Park, Roundabout, Speke, Liverpool, L24 8QB
  • Screening Times:
    • Arnold Clark customer screenings will commence at 2pm prompt at each of the above venues on the Date and Time listed.
    • Screenings for our charity partners will begin at 11am prompt as follows::
      • At Glasgow for Glasgow Children’s Hospital invitees
      • At Liverpool (Speke) for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital 
  • Please note that screenings will take place at the listed time.  No advertisements or trailers will be shown prior to the screening so please arrive no later than the advertised start time to ensure that you see the full film and do not disturb other guests.

2. Booking & Seat Allocation
  • Booking is mandatory and must be completed online via the process published in the Arnold Clark app.  You may claim a booking code on the app which will be which will appear immediately in the app with a link to the booking portal
  • Use the code to access the booking portal.
  • In order to book seats for screenings commencing at 2pm you will be required to make a non-refundable charitable donation of £2.00 per seat which will show in your account as being paid to “SPARK Marketing Services” who will hold funds and make the payment to charity.
  • Those screenings commencing at 11am for our charity partners are provided completely free of charge for those people who confirm their booking on this booking platform with no charitable donation necessary.
  • The charity donations will be split equally between Glasgow Children’s Hospital and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
  • Each booking code entitles you to book up to 4 (four) seats at the screening.  The screening available to you is dictated by the booking code you receive from Arnold Clark.
  • Should you receive a booking code from our charity partners the same rules apply.
  • Spaces are strictly limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • No gaps may be left between bookings or at the end of any row. Please follow seating instructions closely during the booking process.
  • Seat selection is not guaranteed, and preferred seating may not be available.
  • Once a venue reaches capacity, it will be marked as sold out, and no further bookings will be accepted for that location.
  • Should you need to cancel a booking please contact us at hello@wearespark.com entering “Arnold Clark” in the subject line and sharing your booking reference in your email.
  • Booking codes may only be used once, have no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be sold or reproduced.
  • Bookings are for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be resold, exchanged, transferred for value or used in connection with any promotional or commercial activity without prior written consent of the Promoter.

3. Donation Requirement
  • In order to secure seats for the 2pm screenings, attendees are required to make a charitable donation of £2 per seat.  This donation requirement does not apply for those booking an 11am screening.
  • The charitable donation is mandatory in order to complete a booking for the 2pm screenings.
  • Except where the event is cancelled or materially changed by the organisers, donations are non-refundable, including in cases of non-attendance.
  • Arnold Clark’s chosen charities are Glasgow Children’s Hospital and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and 100% of the £2 donations shall be split equally between them and passed on within 30 days of the event.

4. Attendance Requirements
  • Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • The film is expected to carry a BBFC classification of 12A (suitable for 12 years and over, or younger children when accompanied by an adult)
  • Admission is only valid with a confirmed booking and payment of the required donation.

5. Event Conduct
  • All attendees must adhere to standard cinema rules, including:
    • No photography or filming during the screening.
    • No use of mobile phones once the film has started.
    • Respectful and appropriate behaviour is expected at all times.
  • The organisers and venue reserve the right to refuse admission or remove attendees for unsafe, illegal or inappropriate behaviour.

6. Accessibility
  • Guests requiring wheelchair spaces or other accessibility accommodations should contact us using the form on this website in advance of booking.  While we cannot guarantee being able to accommodate requests we will assist where possible.

7. Organisers
  • The event is organised by Arnold Clark and administered by SPARK Marketing Services Limited.

8. Changes and Cancellations
  • The organisers reserve the right to modify event details or cancel the event at their discretion. In such cases, affected guests will be notified as soon as possible by email and all charitable donations refunded.

9. Travel and other costs
  • The event includes a medium soft drink and popcorn for each attendee.  Details of how to collect those items shall be shared with your booking confirmation, there is no cash alternative.
  • Neither Arnold Clark or their agents or partners (including Cineworld) shall be responsible in any way for any other costs you incur by attending a screening including but not limited to travel or accommodation costs.

10. Non-Partnership
  • These events do not imply or indicate any partnership between Arnold Clark, Cineworld, the charities listed, Sony Pictures Releasing or any other party involved in the provision of the events.
  • Cineworld acts solely as the venue provider and is not responsible for the administration or operation of the screenings.

11. Liability
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Subject to the above, the organisers shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from attendance at the event.

12. Your Data
  • Personal information provided during the booking process will be processed by SPARK Marketing Services Limited and/or Arnold Clark solely for the purposes of administering the event, communicating event details, and managing bookings, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the relevant privacy policies.

13. Force Majeure
  • The organisers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, industrial disputes, technical failures, government restrictions, venue closures, or film distribution issues.
